The 2006 year is almost a memory and it has been a very good year.  I recently received a promotion to first ever the Multimedia Specialist for UF/IFAS Tropical Research and Education Center (TREC) in Homestead and the Ft. Lauderdale Research and Education Center (FLREC).  This new position has been a welcome shift in new direction for me and now I work independently addressing faculty needs at both centers. 

Also, I am now the current editor of the Miami Rare Fruit Council International’s magazine, Tropical Fruit News (TFN).  TFN is a bi-monthly publication about rare tropical fruits and articles are submitted covering a wide array of topics from recipes to enthusiast and professionally written articles about rare fruits worldwide.
