Dr. Crane and I spent a good deal of time last week at the Going Bananas Nursery photographing some of the 96 banana cultivars found on the premises.  The experience of this interesting nursery is best fulfilled with a visit as Don or Katie Chafin take every visitor on a golf cart tour of the grounds.  The many different bananas cultivars and the cool shady canopy of some rows create an austere effect taking the visitor to far off places.
